Kim Willis With Special Guest: Copywriter Heather Boyer
Life rarely goes according to plan and, sometimes – paradoxically – that’s when the best things in life can happen. When it came to online work, Heather’s original plan was bookkeeping.
However, the more she dove into Facebook groups and programs for bookkeepers, the more she heard a common theme: these brilliant numbers people needed help with words for their businesses.
After one query in a bookkeeper group got more than 30 responses, she realized she’d found a starving crowd. Her call calendar filled up, and ever since she’s been using her unusual combination of skills to help bookkeepers and accountants with writing and content marketing.
More About Heather:
Heather graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism in 2010. Despite this, she chose bookkeeping as her vocation and spent 10 years working in the profession.
Then in 2016, her life was turned upside down when she met the love of her life – a native Israeli – on a high ropes course in Florida.
She now lives with him in Israel, building her copywriting business and serving the marketing and content needs of her bookkeeper clients.
